Last Updated: May 13, 2026Welcome to Barco Brain. By downloading, accessing, or using the Barco Brain mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Barco Brain provides AI-powered nutritional analysis, barcode scanning, label recognition, and health tracking tools. The App allows users to capture images of food and products to receive estimated nutritional information, health scores, and personalized insights.
IMPORTANT: Barco Brain is for informational and educational purposes only.
Barco Brain is not a medical service, healthcare provider, or licensed dietitian. The nutritional data, health scores, and AI insights provided are estimates and should not be used to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. You should always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, especially if you have food allergies, diabetes, or other health concerns. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or saw in the App.
While we strive to provide the most accurate information possible through advanced AI and verified databases such as Open Food Facts: we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of nutritional values, calorie counts, or ingredient lists. Factors such as lighting, image quality, portion estimation, and regional product variations can affect results. Users are encouraged to cross-reference the App's results with the physical nutrition labels on the product packaging.
Account Responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
Accurate Information. You agree to provide accurate information when setting up your profile, dietary preferences, or health goals to ensure the best possible experience.
Barco Brain Pro. Certain features, such as AI Chat, complete history, advanced insights, and ad-free experience, may require a paid subscription.
Billing. Payments are processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Refunds. All refund requests are handled by the respective App Store and are subject to their refund policies.
By using the App, you agree not to: use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; attempt to hack, decompile, reverse-engineer, or misuse any part of the App; upload images that are offensive, illegal, or violate the privacy of others; use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to extract data from our platform; or abuse AI features or use the App in a way that harms other users or the service.
The App, including its original content, features, design, animations, branding, name, logo, and Barco Brain identity, are and will remain the exclusive property of the developer. You may not use our trademarks, branding, content, or design assets without prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barco Brain and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to: health issues, inaccurate nutrition data, incorrect AI responses, loss of progress data, app downtime, and product database errors. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we believe your conduct violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the App, or our business interests.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We may notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
